Hutchinson3G is a startup telecommunication provider from the
UK. They are currently entering the 3G market in Italy and propose
an integrated solution offering prepaid and postpaid subscribers
services in the GSM, GPRS amd UMTS market. Their platform includes
SingleView (ADC) for Billing and Rating, InterconnecT (Intec)
for mediation and different other interfaces to support 3G network
offering.
Worldlink was brought into this project in order to coordinate
the rating processes for the postpaid/prepaid subscribers for
GSM and UMTS markets, in the post- and pre-operations phases of
the system implementation. This role included planification tasks
as well as technical hands-on role to define the rating requirements
of the client and control the processing of the different applications
involved (InterconnecT, Singleview).
WIND (Italian
Telecommunication Provider)
Wind is the direct competitor of TIM (Telecom Italia)
as a telecom services provider for the Italian market. They manage
a client base of 9 millions of subscribers.
Worldlink helped Wind in their implementation of Mobile Number
Portability feature for their CCBS system (CCBS System: Sema -
BSCS v5.21)
